How to apply
Funding is open!
It will close in:
*Please be aware that we now require a two year gap between all successful applications.*
If you are applying, please ensure that you have read the who we fund and who we don’t fund sections of the website.
We receive many applications from worthy causes, far more than we can possibly fund. Please be aware that although your application may well fit within our objects it is not always possible to support your application.
Due to the large number of applications we receive we have restricted our funding geographically to the South East of the UK.
Priority will be given to charities that have an annual income of less than £5million, with the exception of hospices.
If you are applying for funding for a South African charity please visit the “How to apply” page on the Jim Joel Fund website.
Application review process
The review process is managed by the board of Trustees who meet to discuss applications in detail. This thorough process takes us around 12 weeks to complete, therefore, within 3 months you will be informed whether or not your application has been successful.
Each funding round we receive more applications than we able to grant, so please do not be disappointed if your charity is not offered a grant.
